Keyboard emulator and negation of read card number

Postby Jantar » Thu Oct 23, 2014 8:38 am

Video guide shows the installation of a software, which allows keyboard emulation.
This means that after a successful setup of the reader the card number is read as if you were writing it with a keyboard.
It applies to both Reader D-1-USB models.

It also shows how to set the negation setting (turning) of the read card number with the program Codeks Device Manager.
This means that the card number can be read in a V9 format (without negation), or in the V7 format (with negation).
Applies only to the Reader D-1-USB model, whose serial number begins with 2014xxxxxxxx.
On older Reader D-1 USB model the negation setting is set with the manual card programming (check the manual).

During playback you can pause the clip at any time with left-click.
